In this project, I will design a VR educational game that uses immersive learning and game-learning methods to motivate students to learn about animals. It is extremely important to teach teenagers about animal knowledge since human activities have caused a great deal of ecological damage to the environment. Below is a summary of the design principles for designing the VR educational game. The process of learning animal knowledge may pose three major difficulties to learners. Firstly, the problem is that most of the parents do not have enough time to take their children to the zoo because of their busy work schedules. As a result, most of the children do not have much chance to visit zoos due to the lack of opportunities. Secondly, most of the zoos were closed during the pandemic, so children had fewer opportunities to visit them. Lastly, the knowledge becomes abstract and dry in the absence of interaction and activity, making it difficult to comprehend. Students do not find the teacher's teaching method interesting and engaging because teachers are often only inspired by the textbook. It is believed that by incorporating interactive gameplay, role-playing, interesting tasks, multimedia, and immersive learning into the design of the VR educational game, I can address these problems and increase learning motiva-tion and learning outcomes.
